Our Services

Assessment

The first phase to an individualized parent training or behavior therapy is a detailed assessment. This can take up to two weeks, depending on the availability of the family and child who is being assessed, and at least 3 appointments. The assessment is a detailed summary of the behavior concerns, the delays, and mostly importantly the behavior plan.

Functional Behavior Assessments are performed to assess your child’s strengths and challenges, to develop goals, and create a program plan for reducing maladaptive behaviors while teaching necessary functional replacement behaviors and skills. Both parent training assessments and intensive intervention assessments are completed in the child’s home.

ABA based intensive behavior management programs

This program directs treatment at reducing significant maladaptive behaviors while helping a child acquire the necessary replacement and adaptive behaviors.

Behavior therapy decreases behaviors that interfere with an individual's ability to access their environment. The therapy sessions can be twice a week or 5 days a week, depending on the severity of the behaviors.

Parent Training

Behavior Analysts work directly with parents to teach them the basic principles of ABA. We support and guide the families through the intervention program while empowering them to reach a high level of parenting effectiveness. When training concludes, families can assess behavioral challenges and develop and implement effective interventions to help their child when needed.

The parent training sessions can be done with only 1 parent, with 1 couple, or a group of parents.
